An old man died, leaving his violin to his favorite grandson.

"You know," said the young beneficiary's father after the will had been read, "Dad was such a good-hearted man."

"Yes, indeed," said his wife. "Just think -- leaving that beautiful instrument to our Herbie."

"That's only the half of it," replied her husband.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"Didn't you notice that he left the bow to our nephew out in California?
